We had our day at Citation on the 1st of August 2022 having previously switched venue from 29 Glasgow. Louize and the team are an absolute credit to Citation, Louize in particular is amazing, so accommodating, friendly and most importantly so knowledgeable and competent she really takes the pressure off and allows the couple to enjoy the planning of their day as well as the day itself. Citation is absolutely breath-taking, such a beautiful venue in the middle of Glasgow I cannot think of a single other place that could compare. The entire day of my wedding I had guests talking about how beautiful the venue was and how wonderful the staff were. The master of ceremonies was a gentleman and instantly put an anxious bride at ease! I can never thank you all enough, you absolutely gave me the day I have always dreamt of and with a team that made us feel first class all day x x x

We had our wedding day on the 24th of July and start to finish it was perfect. Louize and her team made the planning process so easy and exciting and made sure to check in regularly with us. Those personal links made it feel that much more special. The venue itself is stunning – all our guests were so complimentary. It’s prefect for an all day affair – we married upstairs and had cocktail hour and pictures downstairs before returning upstairs for our meal which was 10/10. Our guests felt very looked after by the attentive staff throughout the day. The venue is fully accessible which was such a weight of our minds for our older guests. The staff who run the day are on top of everything! And they kept us informed throughout. Nothing felt rushed but everything was organised which made the day flow smoothly.
The evening reception was amazing as the downstairs transforms into the perfect bar and dance floor space. Special mention to the bar and security staff who were very helpful and friendly.
In conclusion, if we could do the whole day again, we would! It was just amazing and something we’ll remember forever.

We had our wedding day in Citation on 2nd July 2022. We enjoyed every moment of our day and that was largely down to Louize and the amazing staff. We had big concerns about road closures on the day (due to another large event in the city centre) but Louize put our minds at ease straight away, and as she predicted everything went without a hitch! Everything that we asked for was done without any hesitation and all of our guests commented on what an amazing venue Citation is!! We had asked for a number of special requests during our meal and they were all carried out without any trouble at all. The meal itself was beautiful and our cocktail table went down a treat with the guests too!! I would highly recommend that anyone who is considering using Citation for their wedding day to book ASAP – you wont regret it!!

We had our amazing day on 17.07.22 and it was just the best experience. Louize & Ethan along with their team are just brilliant. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The venue has got to be one of the best in the city, it’s just stunning and all our guests were blown away with the food the atmosphere and how smoothly it all ran. Louize has the patience of a saint as I felt I was emailing her with changes all the time but it was never any trouble for her to change things, even on the day!!.
We would 100% recommend Citation if you are looking for a stunning venue in the heart of Glasgow. -

After booking with Louize at 29, we had the best service, throughout the planning and then covid hit, we were kept up to date and louize was so accommodating with our date changes!
After changing from 29 to Citation during the pandemic we continued to get best service from Louize, nothing was too much to ask before our big day! Even when she didn’t know what was going on or what was going to happen next with restrictions. She was always at the end of a text or phone call/email. She is so knowledgeable and always makes you feel at ease! The venue is stunning and we loved the idea of the city centre wedding and exclusive use! On the day… wow, the staff and venue exceeded all expectations!!! It was unbelievable! I couldn’t believe how everything all came together after all the planning! Everything we asked to be done, was done amazingly, they even decorated my cake! After my nephew testing positive for covid Ethan stepped in and did the MC on the day. He was also exceptional and so friendly! The food and service was out of this world! Nothing was too much for the staff! They even sorted a candle for the dessert last minute for our guests birthdays! Everyone commented on it being the best wedding they have ever been at! I can’t thank everyone at Citation enough for making it so special. I’m just gutted it’s over! It was the best day of our lives and definetly worth the wait!!! Thanks Louize for everything! We had the most amazing day and are so glad we changed from 29 to Citation. The staff were amazing so attentive and the food was so delicious we got so many comments on it, the fillet steak was to die for and cooked to perfection. The day ran so smooth and we loved that we got kept some canapés and drinks to just have some down time on our own to soak the day in as it can be overwhelming. I can’t thank you enough for your support and help over the last few years you really are incredible at what you do and would highly recommend Citation to anyone looking for a quirky city centre wedding, it was perfect. Citation is such a beautiful city centre venue which was more than what we could have wished for! Louize and the team at citation go above and beyond for you and your guests they thought about everything and were so helpful! The food was so amazing we are still hearing from guests raving about it!! I wish I could do our day again it was so perfect and more than what we thought it could be thanks to the amazing Louize no ask was too small!!

After 3 Covid cancellations, I have never felt more relieved to have booked our wedding at Citation. From the first call with Louise, I felt a weight lift off my shoulders and knew I was in the hands of an expert. Everything from the venue, staff, communication to the food was absolutely fantastic. We couldn’t have asked for a better day. Sometimes things happen for a reason and I’m sure it was because we were meant to be married in Citation. We had the most fabulous day. Everything went like clockwork and every guest commented on the beautiful location, the fantastic staff, the gorgeous food..and of course the party. Our wedding pictures are stunning and we cannot thank Louise and her team enough for making our day go so well and giving us the best experience and the most magical memories. Sometimes it’s better to leave it to the professionals and in our case, this couldn’t have been more true. Nothing was a bother and it was an absolute pleasure to be married in what has to be Glasgow’s best and most beautiful wedding venue.
