All the fun of the Luxury Scottish Wedding show at the Balmoral Hotel

It’s official – the 2022 wedding season is well underway and happy couples made their way to Edinburgh’s Balmoral Hotel at the weekend for the first Luxury Scottish Wedding show of the year.

We were there to hand out the first copies of our brand new Your Scottish Wedding magazine and soak up the atmosphere of the show.

Here’s just some of our highlights…

Couples arrived in style to the strains of a traditional piper on the steps of The Balmoral…

and were welcomed with a show programme and our glossy new YSW mag.

Scrumptious cakes

Couples had the chance to peruse mouthwatering cakes, courtesy of Cherry Blossom Cakes, Katie’s Cakes and Liggy’s Cakes.

Luxurious venues

While The Balmoral provided a sumptuous setting for the show, other venues from across Scotland were also represented.

Couples were able to browse offering from The Old Dr Bells Baths, The Scotch Malt Whisky Society, Kimpton Charlotte Square Hotel and its sister hotel Intercontinental Edinburgh The George, The Bonham Hotel, The University of St Andrews, The Signet Library, Mansfield Traquair, Royal College of Physicians Edinburgh, Riddle’s Court and Dalmahoy Hotel & Country Club.

Other bridal looks came from Kudos Bridal (top photos), Harvey Nichols and Sophia Grace Couture (bottom right) while Rachel Scott Accessories were also on-hand with some bridal bling (below).
